Practicing Gratitude

How often do you live in the moment? Probably not as often as you’d like to — and maybe not as often you think you do.

For many of us, living in the moment is tough. It forces us to stop planning ahead and stop reflecting on the past. And it asks us to let go and give into some mindlessness.

At the same time, living in the moment means practicing mindfulness. It means recognizing the present for what it is, not what we want it to be. The more we can do that, the more we’ll be able to appreciate our favorite life moments as they happen. ¹

 Living in the moment is just one simple way to practice gratitude and enjoy life more. It’s not the only one, of course. There are many little things we can do to show gratitude every day.

And the more we embrace those practices and make them habits, the better life can become. ²
